Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to McDermidCommunity School again!  What better way to promote reading than to support this important literacy event.

We invite your entire family to participate by purchasing the latest and greatest in children’s books.  Did you know that for every $10 you spend at the book fair, up to $6 goes directly back to our school library?  Your support helps with obtaining new books and resources for our library and classrooms.

You’ll find hundreds of quality books at our book fair with a wide assortment for all reading levels. Students will receive a preview flyer during their classroom preview session the days before the book fair.  This will provide you with a few examples of the many great books available!

Details:
Classroom Purchase Dates: Wednesday, March 22 and Thursday, March 23
Your child can bring money on this day to purchase books.

Family Book Fair Date/3-Way Conferences:  Friday, March 24
