We have so many wonderful learning experiences happening all month long! We are wrapping up a wonderful year, and celebrating Independence and Mastery from the Circle of Courage.

 At McDermid, May (“Mii”) is the month of Courage (Michif for Brave is “Braav”)

At McDermid, we celebrate the Grandfather Teaching of Truth.

March (Maar) is the month of Wisdom (Nipwahkow). This is represented by the Beaver (Aen Kaastor).

This month McDermid will be focusing on celebrating Metis culture and learning more about the people group whose traditional homeland includes our school.

The Grandfather Teaching for the month of February is Love.
